SKyflex undidirectional prepreg stands out in terms of quality. Exceptionally uniform and flat, the unidirectional prepreg has a smooth easy tack finish and a very low incidence of faults, making it popular with laminators, and at a metre wide, simplifies larger patterns and saves waste
SKyflex produce low weight prepregs, down to 20 gsm, and offer options of UD without scrim, with glass scrim or carbon scrim to cover every application. The scrimless prepregs are easily handled for tube rolling and can be rolled on the finest mandrels by virtue of the specially developed resin properties. The standard product is available in a range of Mitsubishi fibres from high strength (24 TON) through to high modulus (46TON). In weights from 20gsm to 250gsm, with an excellent out life and competitive pricing, these complete the list of reasons for using SKyflex.
